Mount Oxford (Hard)
13.2km return, 1030m elevation, 5hrs (from Coopers Creek)
15.0km return, 1120m elevation, 6hrs (from View Hill)
20.6km loop, 1360m elevation, 8hrs (via Ryde Falls)
The direct route is strenuous enough, but it is possible to combine a stop at Ryde Falls in a 20km loop track to cover both sights in the one trip. Consider extending your walk with an off-track trip to the lower summit of Mt Oxford (1340m) to a small shelter with great views towards the Lees Valley (45min return).

The times given below are for departures starting from Coopers Creek car park but it is also possible to access these from the View Hill car park. View Hill car park may not be accessible during times of heavy rain due to the two fords on Perhams Road.

Please note that the direct summit route from Coopers Creek car park does involve a stream crossing near the start. This is straight forward as long as Coopers Creek is not in flood. Expect some level of snow during the winter months near the summit.

There is also a track which is not shown on the map below which starts at Wharfedale Hut and then climbs southeast to Point 1130 to join the track from View Hill Carpark to Mt Oxford. This is a poled route and some hiking experience is recommended as a pre-requisite. 6.3km one way, 1000m elevation, 3hrs.

Excellent detailed information about the track can be found on the two blogs linked below:
